I have been blogging via A lesbian Reads for 5 months now! How exciting is that? In honor of the awesome Groundhogs day (is a day celebrated on February 2. According to folklore, if it is cloudy when a groundhog emerges from its burrow on this day, then spring will come early; if it is sunny, the groundhog will supposedly see its shadow and retreat back into its burrow, and the winter weather will continue for six more weeks.*according to Wikipedia*) I’ve decided to host a giveaway. Some amazing lesbian fiction authors have pitched in and are helping sponsor this amazing event! I was thinking about doing this many different ways but then it came to me! Why not get it so almost everyone could win an amazing prize? The rules for how to win are below… If you don’t get the book you want, you should click the link and buy it anyway! Support your favorite authors, with out them we would be very bored! Giveaway begins January 30th and Ends February 2nd 9:30 pm CT. This post will get edited and will have the winner of the book below the book. So check back after you have posted! Check out Groundhog Day website for more fun!

Jen-
Thanks for letting me take part in your giveaway, Jen!
Hi Jen, I want the groundhog to see his shadow because I don’t want any false hope about finally being able to say good-bye to this rather ruthless winter. As for what I like about les fic books–they are the perfect escape and they are about US! What could be better? Thanks for letting me participate in the giveaway.
I appreciate your blog and the giveaway. Perhaps many of us don’t have the desire to access all the other social media sites you require to enter the giveaway. Do readers have to do all 5 or just pick one? That wasn’t clear, and if all 5 are required, I think folks who don’t use those other sites don’t want to have to do that ( including me!). If just a comment here is all it takes, I think you would have many more participants. 🙂
I have updated it because it wasn’t clear sorry about that!
What a great way to have a 5 month anniversary!!
Great selection of books to give away here. Who could resist? Everyone needs role models and lesfic helps to redress the balance – so the more stories the better. I hope Phil doesn’t see his shadow as I think we’ve had it with wintry weather for this year.
When I found lesbian fiction I found a well of richness I didn’t know I was missing! And there is so much to choose from! Les fic is a vital part in my life…
It is nice to read something which relates to being a lesbian!
This is awesome, Jen! Thanks!
Jen, I’m glad your update is getting more responses. Again, thanks for providing the opportunity for more lesfic reading!
Great idea, Jen! Good luck!
I love that there is almost always a strong female lead.
Hmmm the primary reason I like lesbian fiction books is because of the pairing… I like to read about what I can relate to in real life. I also like the dynamic between two women and how it is presented in lesfic. I would agree that I hope Phil doesn’t see his shadow because I’m sick of winter and looking for the warm weather!!

Have a great night!
Thank you so much for the chance!!!!
And thank you to Anastasia Vitsky for telling me about it 🙂
Darn I feel asleep last night before being able to post. Ill pay better attention next time:)
I love how they have a dominant female role. I myself am a submissive but it is nice to see a woman taking control 🙂
